On Friday, the School District of Philadelphia is going green as they cheer on the hometown Eagles, who are set to take on the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 on Sunday.

Across the city, students of all ages will don their greenest attire, participating in pep rallies, parades, and “green out” events. Roosevelt Elementary School in Philadelphia will even have a “Jell-O Bowl,” complete with 600 rally towels donated by the Eagles, and Solis-Cohen Elementary School will give out select Modell's Sporting Goods' "Underdog" T-shirts to a student nominated from every classroom who has persevered despite adversity.

Many teachers and students have already been getting in on the Super Bowl prep action, posting #EaglesGreenSDP photos and videos to social media.

A group of students from Newlin Fell Elementary School voiced support for the Eagles in all of the different languages they speak:

Students at Southwark Elementary School had trivia contests...

and performed Fly Eagles Fly with recycled instruments:

And students at Potter-Thomas had some direct words of encouragement — and good advice — to send to their team:

It's clear the Eagles are already champions for students across Philadelphia.

And everyone can have a taste of Eagles AND city schools spirit with Federal Donuts' Eagles donut, with proceeds benefitting the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.
