AL DÍA Announces New Vice President
Carlos Olea named VP.
AL DÍA News recently announced the addition of Carlos M. Olea to the AL DÍA News team.
As the Vice President, Mr.Olea will focus on digital media and customer engagement.
Formerly serving as President & CEO of Hispanic Health & Beauty Media, Inc, Olea spent two years focused solely on the company stationed in Chicago, Illinois.
Olea has a career in news and publishing that can be traced back to 1992 where he began in an entry level position. Mr. Olea worked at La Raza for 14 years, where he rose up to the Associate Publisher and then to Corporate Manager for ImpreMedia.
La Raza was acquired by ImpreMedia in 2004 during Olea’s term where he worked with publications such as La Opinión, El Diario, and La Prensa. Each respective publication is specifically targeted to areas with large Latino populations including Los Angeles, New York, and Central Florida respectively.
In a similar fashion to these publications, Al DÍA News is the leading dual language publication in the Philadelphia region, and unveiled the launch of the bilingual site in 2014.
With such extensive experience in Hispanic/Latino markets, Olea hopes to expand AL DÍA’s reach even further backed by his more than 20 years of experience.
